Inspired by unused space while seeking to engage our community, Wake Up! Waltz collaboratively brought performance art to multiple 'stages', adjacent to Chicago's "L" (elevated) train.
 
During high commuting hours, a temporary dance troupe transformed the mundane train ride into an experience of joyful celebration. 
 
Modern interpretations of waltzes appeared on the rooftops of Chicago's Logan Square, Uptown, and South Shore neighborhoods.​
