loveMELT newsletter #011: mouths full

Updated: Jun 1, 2022

I've been writing poetry. I've got a couple of poems to share with you.

I am mouth

I am mouth

the South

calls it extreme

Where does yours will to be?

These lips

feel

and evoke

volume

upon listening freely

freakishly

reacting to social normalcy

The throttles

of this throat

take me

to my spoken word

geography

For the next one, read along as I read the poem aloud.

Then read it aloud yourself. Maybe you'll enjoy the wordplay.

Ash says

Walking through

Sand

Quick

Hurry

Canes

Titles

Wave

Torn

I dos

This world

Has-her-dust

Ash says

Woah-Man-down

Third eye

No

Where

In sigh-t

You and me

soul-unfound

Ash

and

me

do not embrace

We lie

awake

a-part

Fucked

Ash says

take me

in

wear me

out

I’d do anything

to

be

with

you

Shake me

unsoot me

Make

me

again

seamless

I

would

fly

high

flow

ting

ling

earring

every-her-wear

I

would

feel

innee

outer

thing

morning

noon

night

in-turn-really

And I

would

swallow

you whole

so you

would

feel

the same

free

We

would

flee

this

dumps-her-drain

I hear Ash

but do not speak

Oh, oh

Ash says

You think

I’m insane?

Well, well

come

to the par for tea, cuz

we art

the se-same

brain

But you, She, you

are bran-dead by

Monopolice

You night

es-cape

with me

Wheel feel

as weee

fieldwork

a new-vow

state

P.S. Feel free to write back

I love you,

Sadie
